morpheus therapeutics is pleased to announce it has been registered by the Australian Security and Investments Commission as an Australian Pharmaceutical company specialising in the development, manufacture and commercialisation of novel therapies for the treatment of sleep disorders.
It is estimated that approximately one in five Australians are affected by a major sleep disorder. Australia is not alone…. Globally, poor sleep is being recognised as having a significant impact on health and productivity. Suitable therapies to tackle these disorders (including insomnia, sleep-cycle disruption, and anxiety related sleep issues) have made little progress in the last decade. While we have made little progress, the global market for suitable sleep therapies is massive, and with an estimated 50 to 70 million people in the US alone, having ongoing sleep disorders, innovative therapies to address these are urgently needed.
